Value of Planned Cascades International Park

Due to the pressures of logging, grazing, and from other human uses in both the U.S. and Canadian Cascades, the habitats used by wildlife have been degraded. Linking existing parks and wild areas on both sides of the international border to create a biosphere core reserve would protect the diverse biological resources of the area.
