Barter Faire is Evolving

Barter Faires have evolved from small, local gatherings that were initiated by Back-to-the-Land groups who created their own culture priorities of growing their food organically, raising their families by home schooling their children, learning to be more self-sufficient in their needs. As time past, Barter Faires attracted people from regional areas now who came to experience the cultural changes and ambience the faire had to offer. And now hundred and even thousands of visitors come to the Okanogan Family Faire
